Virgin Active are busy, funky, comprehensive gyms and health clubs. You get a huge well-kept gym with an excellent range of equipment, pool (with kids' pool) and a good range of free classes. There's even a modest climbing wall. Boasts an excllent cafe, plus the usual beautician. Bottom line is, it's not cheap but there's loads to get out of it. Highly recommended, if you're going to keep going, particularly for young hip things.
